Penndel Hosting Community Day, Yard Sale Saturday

Penndel Borough is holding their annual Community Day and Yard Sale this Saturday.

The fourth annual event will run at three locations through the borough from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Mayor Bob Winkler said events will be held outside borough hall, Redeemer Lutheran Church and the Our Lady of Grace School parking lot. A map of houses taking part in the yard sale will be available at the borough hall.

Activities for the kids, shopping, local services and demonstrations will all be part of the fun-filled day.

Winkler said the community day should be fun for all ages. The event came to fruition four years ago after he became mayor, Winkler told LevittownNow.com.
