

A pre-dawn fire destroyed a rock crusher Wednesday morning and drew crews from multiple volunteer fire company to put out the blaze.

The Tullytown Borough Fire Company was dispatched to the area of 8000 Old Bristol Pike at 4:43 a.m. to investigate a reported incident.
At the scene, the borough fire marshal discovered a machine fully engulfed in flames and reported the situation to the fire chief, according to the Tullytown Fire Company.
The chief requested assistance from Levittown Fire Company No. 1. Minutes later, the Falls Township Fire Company was also called to the scene to aid in the response, the fire company said.

Crews established a water supply to ensure the fire inside the rock crusher was completely extinguished.
No injuries were reported.
