When referring to the police station, which is housed in the Bristol Township Municipal Building on Bath Road, Weaver said: “I’m gonna, I’m gonna blast that f**king place up. Twelve f**cking mortar rounds in that b*itch, motherf**ker.

Police said they were able to trace the call back to Weaver’s cell phone using the department’s in-house computer system.

Lt. Terry Hughes said investigators believe Weaver was upset that he had just received non-traffic citations for defiant trespassing and harassment in connection with a domestic-related incident in Bristol Township. Court papers add that police were dispatched but did not file an charges in connection with a separate incident in late April in the township.

Weaver’s message lasted under five minutes and was left on Callahan’s desk phone voicemail at around 10:15 p.m. Hughes said Callahan is not know to have any involvement in the issuing of the citations.

Detectives went down to Weaver’s home on Richmond Street in Philadelphia after the call but were unable to make contact with him. On Wednesday, police arrested Weaver as he arrived to District Judge Robert Wagner’s courthouse on the citations.

A bomb-detecting dog was used to sweep the township offices following the threat but everything was clear, Hughes said.

Wagner found Weaver guilty of defiant trespassing and dismissed the harassment charge on Wednesday, according to court records.
