A car crashed and caught fire in Falls Township Tuesday afternoon.
Details on the incident are slim, but a first responder told LevittownNow.com the car “burnt to a crisp” following the blaze around 1:25 p.m. 6abc.com reported the vehicle hit a guardrail before catching fire.

Officials did not release details on any injuries as of press time. Ambulances were called to the scene and scanner traffic indicated at least one person may have suffered burns.
The northbound lanes of Route 1 were stopped by police as firefighters worked to put down the flames.
Traffic was backed up to the Route 13 interchange.
