Residents along a portion of New Falls Road in Levittown said they heard the sound of an accident Sunday night and then saw flames.
At least two people were examined by medics following a fiery crash that happened around 10 p.m. on the Middletown side of New Falls Road and ended with one vehicle into a fence and the other on fire in the front yard of a home on the Bristol Township side of the road.

The wreck happened on New Falls Road not far from the entrances to the Indian Creek and Quincy Hollow sections, closest to Woodbourne Road, a fire official told LevittownNow.com.
A silver Ford Mustang and a blue Jeep were heavily damaged in the wreck. The Jeep caught fire after ending up in the front yard of a home in Indian Creek.
While the Jeep was fully engulfed in flames, the Mustang suffered a small fire in the engine compartment. A local resident said firefighters quickly moved in and fought the flames.

Witnesses told LevittownNow.com the Jeep rolled before catching on fire. They also said the Mustang may have been speeding in the moments leading up to the crash. Police were not available to comment on the factors that caused the crash as of press time.
