BCCC Wants to Know if You’re into Metal

In to metal? No, not the musical form but actual metals; as in working with them?

Bucks County Community College will begin evaluating candidates for a 12-month job-training program that focuses on metal fabrication.

The offering is funded through a federal Community Development Block Grant.

Informational sessions are scheduled next month at BCCC campuses in Central and Lower Bucks.

The first session is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 3 in the main campus solarium, 275 Swamp Road, Newtown Township.

A second information session runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 4 in the Lower Bucks campus atrium, 1304 Veterans Highway, Bristol Township.

Metal worker job training sessions will equip students for jobs in the manufacturing sector, according to college officials.
