The crash happened around 3 p.m. Tuesday on Woodbourne Road between Langhorne-Yardley and Ellis roads in Middletown Township.
Township and county park police, firefighters, and ambulance crews responded to the scene.
The driver of the tanker truck needed help being freed from the wreckage, but they avoided serious injury, police said.

The driver lost control on a bend in the road along Core Creek Park.
A wrecker from Scrappy’s Auto Service was working to upright the crashed truck as of 4 p.m.

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection responded to the crash scene to evaluate any contamination.
Fire police and police closed Woodbourne Road at Langhorne-Yardley and Ellis roads.
The Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company, Middletown Township Department of Fire and Emergency Services, and Newtown Fire Rescue responded, along with the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad.
