A 23 -year old Levittown man is was taken into custody by Bristol Township police on Sunday for allegedly robbing a friend while high on a powerful anti-anxiety drug.
According to authorities, Patrick Hogan, while at the home of a friend on the 100 block of Idlewild Road in the Bristol Township section of Levittown, helped himself to his friend’s possessions.

Officers wrote in court papers, Hogan allegedly stole two rings, two bracelets, earrings, a pendant, a Wal Mart Gift Card and Australian coins for a total value of $2,700.
According to police, Hogan “spontaneously” admitted to theft telling officers. Court papers quote his as saying, ” I was zanied up and took something that didn’t belong to me.”
Hogan, according to online court records, is currently in the process of completing community service related to theft and conspiracy charges from a 2012 case.

That case is listed as active on the county system.
The items alleged to have been stolen on Sunday were found to be in Hogan’s possession, police wrote in court documents.

Hogan was charged with felony theft and was sent to Bucks County Jail on 10 percent of $50,000.
He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in front of Judge Joanne Kline on May 7.
