The Bristol Township man accused of robbing a Lower Southampton bank branch and then fleeing south plead guilty in county court on Monday.

Keith Hawk, 44, of the Levittown section, plead guilty to charges including robbery and theft by unlawful taking for the bank robbery and other charges connected to a drug case in Bensalem, according to a report in the Bucks County Courier Times.

Hawk is accused of walking into the TD Bank on Street Road in November and passing a demand note to a teller. The 44-year-old did not display a weapon and walked out with over $4,000 in cash, police said.

Hawk fled the bank toward Philadelphia and was arrested a few days later in Dinwiddle County, Va. Police said a Dinwiddle County deputy’s patrol car with a license plate reader picked up Hawk’s vehicle as he drove by.

Authorities extradited Hawk from Virgina to Pennsylvania and charged him in the bank robbery.
