A Levittown man is alleged to be behind the robbery of the TD Bank in Lower Southampton on Wednesday night.
Keith Hawk, 44, of Bristol Township’s Levittown section, was arrested in Dinwiddle County, Va. on Friday.

According to Lower Southampton police, a Dinwiddle County deputy’s patrol car with a license plate reader picked up Hawk’s vehicle as he drove by. When he was stopped, police arrested him after they found Lower Southampton detectives filed an arrest warrant for him.
Hawk is accused of walking in the Street Road bank at 5:06 p.m. and presenting a demand note to a teller. No weapon was displayed in the robbery, police said.
Hawk fled in a Honda SUV toward Philadelphia following the robbery.

Police and the FBI did not release how much money Hawk made off with.
Lower Southampton police are working to extradite the 44-year-old to Pennsylvania where he will be facing charges for the bank robbery.

Hawk has several previous run-ins with police. He is currently awaiting trial on drug charges out of Bensalem. Court records show he is currently free on $10,000 unsecured bail.
In a Facebook post, Lower Southampton police thanked the public for their tips.
