Police said in a press release the man who was struck was taken to St. Mary Medical Center by Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad and is in critical condition.

The pedestrian, whose identity is currently unknown, was struck at 8:57 p.m. by a red 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier traveling Westbound on Mill Creek Road towards Orangewood Drive, police said. The driver of the car was a 35-year-old man from Levittown.
Both lanes of Mill Creek Road were closed until 10:25 p.m. Officers were assisted at the scene by Bristol Township Fire Police and the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad.

A man was reportedly struck by a car in Levittown Friday night.

Police and medics swarmed the area of Mill Creek Road and Orangewood Drive in Bristol Township around 9 p.m. for the struck pedestrian call.
The condition of the man is currently unknown but police Sgt. Chuck Burns said the driver of the striking vehicle stopped and was cooperative. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries, according to bystanders.
“I was there it was very sad,” Chris Vitali wrote on LevittownNow.com’s Facebook. “A man, prob late 30s,got hit by a car and since I am a medical professional I attempted first aid. But the damage was severe .”

Traffic in the area was diverted as police handled the investigation following the crash.
