The car left Kenwood Drive, drove up the apron of one home before crossing the lawn and eventually struck the garage of the Levitt-built house shortly before 5:30 p.m, according to police. There were people inside the house at the time of the crash.

Township building inspectors were called to the scene to determine the amount of damage the house sustained.

Officers were investigating rumors the vehicle may have been stolen, Sharp said.
