The blitz attack started when an argument between Altimari and the woman housemate erupted about money and the suspects current lack of employment, authorities wrote in court papers.

Altimari, according to police, threw a cup of ice tea, charged the woman and wrestling her onto the couch where he began sitting on top of the victim.

The woman attempted to fight back by grabbing Altimari’s testicles and “scratching his eyes out,” police said.

Altimari then punched the woman in the face, court documents say, causing her lip to bleed and then choked her with a lamp cord.

The suspect got up said “F**k it, I’ll just shoot you.” He then retrieved ย a black handgun from his bedroom, cocked it and pointed at the woman, police said.

The woman fell to the floor, grabbed her cell phone and quickly dialed 911. She then ran out of the apartment, according to the probable cause paperwork.

When borough police arrived on scene, Altimari told them the handgun was in the apartment under the bed, which they retrieved and placed into evidence.

Officers noted in their paperwork Altimari is a licensed gun owner, however he’s been living at his current address on Farragut Avenue for three years and his gun license has a Croydon address on it. For that reason authorities seized the man’s license to carry.

The suspect was arraigned in Bristol Borough District Court on charges of simple assault, reckless endangerment, terroristic threats, possession of ย a instrument of crime with intent and a related offense. Altimari was sent to Bucks County Jail on 10 percent ย of $50,000 and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on April 2.
