Levittown Man Sues Eagles, Security Team & Police Officer

A Levittown man filed a lawsuit over injuries he allegedly sustained after he was tackled by police and security when the Eagles played the Arizona Cardinals at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia in December.

Longtimeย Eagles season ticket holders Gary Strain was with his wife Margaretta when officials, including a police officer dressed as a Cardinals’ fan, after he yelled an obscenity in a โ€œgood-naturedโ€ way, Philly.com reported.

Their lawsuit names Eagles Stadium Operators LLC and Apex Security Group, as well as one security guard and one police officer. The Strains are seeking more than $50,000 in damages, as well as compensation for attorney’s fees and medical treatment as well as punitive damages for assault and battery, false imprisonment and malicious prosecution.
