Updated: 12:43 p.m. A storm system the National Weather Service says in “less severe” than the last one is expected to roll through Saturday as the forecasting service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the area around 12:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
The Levittown area is expected to receive between 1 to 2 inches of snow.

The precipitation will start mid-morning and continue through Saturday afternoon, according to a NWS forecast. Along with the snow comes cold.
“Colder air moving in will bring Saturday night lows down to the single digits north and mid teens south. Temperatures aren’t expected to rise above freezing on Sunday, and another cold night is expected Sunday night,” NWS forecasters predict.
Then a warming trend begins on Monday, with high temperatures “soaring” into the 50s by the end of the week,” a storm briefing package from the NWS says.

The snow comes just a day after a major storm dumped about a foot of snow throughout the area. In anticipation of the cold weather, Bucks County has issued a Code Blue advisory.
NWS warns that traveling conditions that have been difficult to negotiate already could become hazardous due to the potential for snow turning to rain then to ice combined with low visibility conditions.
