Work will cause lane restrictions once again on Route 1 and Maple Avenue (Route 213) this Friday night and Saturday morning.
The right lane on northbound Route 1 between South Bellevue Avenue and I-95 from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday, PennDOT said in a release. The Maple Avenue ramp to northbound Route 1 will be closed and detoured during the same time period, officials said.

Similar work took place in the same area last Friday into Saturday.
The work is part of a project to replace the three-span, pre-stressed box beam bridge over Maple Avenue. The reconstruction project will realign the Route 1 ramps to Maple Avenue, resurface the roadway approaches and ramps, install glare screens on the median barrier and upgrade drainage systems.
During the project, the speed limit along the highway was been reduced in the work zone.

The work on the project should be done by October 2014.
