
Police are on the hunt for 32-year-old Barry Moyer, who is accused of carjacking a woman at gunpoint on New Year’s Day.
A warrant was issued for Moyer of Oakford Friday morning. When the 32-year-old is arrested, he will face charges of kidnapping to facilitate a felony, two counts of robbery, a single county of possession of a prohibited firearm and related offenses.

Moyer is described by police has “armed and dangerous.” According to authorities, he is 6 foot tall, 175 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair. He was last known to have a black handgun.
The 32-year-old has a long criminal history with felony convictions out of Middletown, Newtown and Bensalem. He was found guilty of felony escape in 2006.
According to police, Moyer carjacked a woman driving a Toyota Camry at gunpoint at the Hamilton Park Apartments in Middletown’s Levittown section on Veterans Highway just hours into the new year .

The woman followed Moyer’s directions and ended up in the Snowball Gate section of Levittown. From there, he took her cash, cell phone and told her to get out of the SUV. He then drove off in her white 2013 Toyota Camry with Pennsylvania tags, police said.
The victim banged on the doors of a few homes and eventually ran to the Great American Diner at the intersection of Veterans and Lincoln highways. Police responded to the diner and searched for the stolen car with no luck.
