A man is in critical but stable condition at a local trauma center following a shooting Wednesday at a New Year’s party in Falls Township.
According to police, a 23-year Morrisville man was shot after a confrontation at a New Year’s party inside a unit in the 300 building of Wellington Woods Apartments on Sweetbriar Road.

The shooting happened around 3 a.m. and the 23-year-old victim was transported for medical attention.
No one is in custody for the shooting as of press time and investigators are looking to speak with witnesses.
Locals have reported police officers at the apartment complex throughout the day. One woman told LevittownNow.com police had checkpoints at the apartment complex driveways.
