The gist was to create a profile on the newly launched Jaybird’s website and earn the most likes for a given profile.
Pone, Keirstyn Evert, winner of the $200 prize, and Vincent Mazzatenta, winner of the $100 bounty, came together at the studio earlier this week to collect their winnings.
Pone, who’s been a loyal customer for 10 years now, said laughingly she joined the contest because “I like to win stuff.” But in all seriousness she said that the first art work she had done by Jaybirds ย was to honor the birth of her son, Hunter.

Jaybirds recently launched a newly designed website and is making a strong bid to connect with tattoo lovers in the area offered the contest as a way to engage their loyal customer base and reach out to potential new customers, said ย Stacy Farhat,ย earlier this month.
All three winners have had work at Jaybird’s in the past and Farhat said it felt good to reward them with the prizes.
Ebert said she heard about the contest through Jaybird’s Facebook page, roving that the studio’s strategy to leverage social media is working.

She’s been visiting the newly launched Jaybird’s web page daily, Ebert said, still deciding what kind of tattoo she’s going to get to use her winnings on.

Mazzatenta, from Bensalem, proving the studio has wide reach, already made his appointment to use his winnings tonight ย in an appointment with Farhat, said he’d recommend the website and getting work done at the studio “to everyone.”

In addition to the new website and profile contest, thereโs also the ability to create and share personal tattoo ideas and bring them to life as part of the new approach to raising the studios presence on the wide world web.
“You get what you pay for,” Evert said of Jaybird’s. “You always get good quality work here. ย If you want quality work done, you’re going to have to pay for it.”

The grand prize winner, as she was making her exit offered her strongest reason for her continued support of ย Jaybird’s Tattoo Studio, echoed byย Mazzatenta and Evert too.
“You go to other studios in the area and they have their friends out there smoking, cursing. and I would never take my daughter there. Here (Jaybirds), its clean, quiet, and professional. You get to win gift certificates, too, and now with the social media angle it’s the only place to get tattoo’s done as far as I’m concerned,” she said.
