At least two people were transported via ambulance following a two-car accident on New Falls Road in Bristol Township Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened around noon at the intersection of New Falls Road and the Magnolia Drive entrance road in the Levittown section. A Subaru blue car with several teenage occupants and an older Buick driven by an elderly woman collided. The blue car ended up on its side at New Falls Road and Parsons Place, crushing a SEPTA bus stop sign and the Drexelwood neighborhood sign, police said.

The teenagers laid on the grass as medical personnel from the Levittown-Fairless Hills rescue squad attended to them. There injuries did not appear life-threatening.

Police blocked a portion of the roadway for about 30 minutes as the accident was cleared.
