A police source told LevittownNow.com Publisher and Editor Jeff Bohen the vehicle the suspect fled in was being pursued by police in the moments leading up to the suspect fleeing.
The suspect is expected to be charged Thursday afternoon.

Franklin D. Roosevelt Middle School off Veterans Highway (Route 413) in Bristol Township is under lockdown as of 10: 30 a.m. following police activity in the area.
School district officials confirmed reports of the lockdown and called it “precautionary.”

Bristol Towship police Lt. Guy Sava told LevittownNow.com the lockdown was put into place at around 10:20 a.m. after a subject who may have been armed ran from police in the area of the school. The suspect was taken into custody.
The lockdown will continue as police officers trace the suspect’s steps to make sure no drugs or weapons were discarded, Sava said.
The incident started as a car stop, according to various police sources.

There are unconfirmed reports a Chevrolet Camero will be towed from the scene.
