A Bensalem 18-year-old just weeks away from his birthday is in county jail on charges he sexually assaulted several teenage girls.
Josh Benson was charged with counts of sexual assault and related offenses. He was arraigned before District Judge Joseph Falcone Thursday morning and sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of 10 percent of $5 million dollars bail.

According to police, Benson was charged Thursday with the sexual assault of two underage girls. He was over 18 during the two assaults.
Benson was already charged as a minor with the sexual assault of five teenage girls, police said. He was incarcerated at Edison Juvenile Detention Center in Doylestown as he was under 18 when those incidents happened.
The seven victims were all between the ages of 14 and 16 years old at the time of sexual assaults, police said, adding that all came forward to report the incidents.

Bensalem investigators said they believe there are “many more” victims yet to come forward.
Benson would meet the victims through online dating website and acquaintances.

Over the course of a few weeks after befriending them the victims would trust him and at some point agreed to have a sexual encounter. Almost immediately when the sexual encounter began the suspect became physically violent. The victims became terrified and asked him to stop, however the suspect became more violent by physically restraining them and continued the sexual assault.
It was reported by authorities that Benson “forcefully raped” one of the girls.
