Balloons to be Released to Remember Agent Orange Victims

Balloons will be released in Bristol Township Monday evening to remember the victims of Agent Orange.

Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans will be holding the balloon release on Veterans Day evening at 7 p.m. at the group’s building at 800 Coates Avenue.

The community is invited to help remember those affected by Agent Orange. Estimates state that between 200,000 and up to one million people were victims weapon, which was used in the Vietnam War as a herbicide and defoliant and had horrible effects of humans.

Organizers say the Monday evening event is part of several across that nation that will release balloons, butterflies and doves into the sky.
