The Pennsbury graduate who is competing in NBC’s “The Voice” is set to hold a mini-concert and meeting and greet this Friday evening in Yardley.
Matthew Schuler, a 2011 graduate of Pennsbury High School and former Sesame Place employee, made show history for the quickest time that all four judges hit their buttons. According to organizers, Schuler will be holding an event this Friday at the Yardley Community Centre at 64 South Main Street. Showtimes of 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. have been scheduled and admission is $10.

The 20-year-old singer will be performing a mix of his own original songs, organizers said.
“Come talk, hang out, and interact with Bucks County’s very own. Even get a chance to win some exciting DOOR PRIZES!” according to a Facebook post about the event.
Schuler’s audition for the fifth season of the hit NBC show, where he performed a cover of Young the Giant’s 2011 hit single “Cough Syrup,” became a viral hit.

“Well, hot damn,” judge Cee Lo Green said of the 20-year-old’s performance. “I’ve got to say man, like, you’re voice is beautiful.”
In his high school yearbook, Schuler’s peers voted him “Most Likely to Appear on the MTV VMA’s.”
