It’s going to be a busy weekend at several local fire companies.
This weekend kicks off this year’s local fire prevention festivities in Bristol Township, Middletown and Tullytown.

The Tullytown Fire Company will hold their fire prevention expo Saturday morning starting at 9 a.m. in the parking lot of the Home Depot in the Levittown Shopping Center. The fire company says there will be live fire demonstrations, lots of fire and rescue apparatus on display, a helicopter, search and rescue dogs and a DJ.
Parkland Fire Company in Middletown will be holding their open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. “Bring the kids to see the trucks, meet the firefighters and see live demonstrations!” according to the fire company’s website. The fire house is located at 836 Avenue D in Middletown.
Later Saturday, Middletown’s William Penn Fire Company will be hosting an open house at the substation on Bristol-Oxford Valley Road. The event starts at 2 p.m. and features Hazmat team, search dogs, moon bounces, fire extinguisher training and more.

Bristol Township’s Third District Fire Company will be holding their Fire Prevention Expo at the municipal building on Bath Road Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. A post on the fire station’s Facebook page says there will be “family fun, fire demonstrations, food, music and more!”
