An accident involving at least one vehicle and a tractor-trailer has left one person dead and another with injuries, according to scanner and media reports.
The accident happened in the area of mile marker 357 in Bristol Township just before 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

According to information from Philly.com, 6abc and dispatch reports, one person was ejected in the crash and another transported to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown.
The victim killed was pronounced dead at the scene, scanner traffic indicated.
TV news footage showed a white car and part of a tractor-trailer off the westbound lanes of the highway and down an embankment.

Police, fire and EMS crews were sent to the scene following the initial dispatch.
State police out of the King of Prussia barracks are investigating the deadly crash.
