The victim told officers she had gone out earlier with a male friend and Michelle Quigley, 25, to the Dog & Bull, and they had a “good time, ” noting she hadn’t seen Quigley in long time, court documents say.
The three left the watering hole located on Newportville Road and Route 13 to return to the victim’s home in Croydon, police say. The male friend was driving so Quigley could return some clothing she had borrowed in the past, court records say. The victim told police the male friend let her out of the passenger side of the vehicle with her walking around to the driver side so she could meet Quigley, according to police.
The woman told officers that Quigley just started to punch her in the face, screaming that she knew the victim stole her money. The woman handed her purse to the man, who inspected it and found no money. Quigley then attacked the victim again by punching her in the face a few times. The man was finally was able to intervene and stop the barrage of fists, leaving shortly afterwards, court records say.
