Man Arrested On Child Sexual Abuse Case

A Falls Township man wanted for alleged sexual abuse of a girl was taken into custody Tuesday morning by local and federal law enforcement.

Jose Elias Coto Flores, 38, was arrested without incident at 11 a.m. at his residence along the 400 block of Thornridge Drive in Levittown, according to officials.

The arrest was carried out by detectives from the Falls Township Police Department and members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.

Detectives issued an arrest warrant for Flores on Monday. He is being charged with statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault on a person less than 16 years old, indecent assault on a person less than 16 years old, corruption of minors, and endangering the welfare of children.

Police allege Flores sexually assaulted a girl in December 2024 and again in April 2025.

After the issuance of the arrest warrant, Falls Township investigators sought the help of the U.S. Marshals Service in Philadelphia to locate and collar him.

“Strong partnerships lead to successful arrests,” said Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Robert Clark in a statement following the operation. “We are proud to support our Bucks County law enforcement partners in bringing a sex offender to justice.”

Flores was preliminarily arraigned Tuesday afternoon before District Judge John Galloway.

Citing concerns that Flores presents a potential flight risk, the district judge ordered him held without bail at the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
