So its last-minute, an idea for a kids party is at hand.  Your son’s little league team is  going to the state finals or your daughter won the school spelling bee, but you gotta do it fast and it has to be local. Who would you turn to and why is the question many would have.

“It’s streamlined the process to where a local mom can speak directly to me about party packages through Facebook and they know what they are going to be paying for. As a Mom, I appreciate when businesses do it for me so in turn it makes sense to do the same,”  Kohler added.

Her “mom’s approach” to building the business from the ground up out of  her home in Goldenridge with her  husband, “Buddy” as the “silent partner”  balances out Kohler’s wish to go bigger and better, she says. “I’m always looking for ways to add something different, something with more color, more bang, that will enhance the party services we offer already. Its gotten to the point where will need to build an addition to the house to keep adding  to all the equipment we already have,” she says with cracking up at the idea of husband doing  just that.

For Kohler, success has been hard-earned, yet she says the real key is the “fun factor.” If you’re going to be a successful business owner, fun and laughter are requirements from her perspective.   “You can’t own a party entertainment business and be a completely boring or a  24/7  intense person. From my nine years of doing this, if there is anything I’ve learned is  fun is must,” she said.

Daughter Savannah  adds her own personality and flare with her juggling act  and son Tristan is a DJ/MC to be adding his own wry sense of humor and knowledge about the world adds to this as the family operated business strives to expand and evolve.
