Speaker of the United States House of Representatives John Boehner (R) was the VIP that brought a large bus, several SUVs and a security detail to Falls Township’s Bucks County Sheraton Hotel on Oxford Valley Road Monday evening, according to multiple sources.
A source connected to Bucks County politics, who requested anonymity, said Boehner attended a fundraiser for 8th District Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick at a “private” location in Lower Makefield. The source added that tickets to the fundraising event were “costly,” but would not elaborate on the price. Another source said the cost was close to $1,000 per a guest.

Fitzpatrick’s chief of staff, Athan Koutsiouroumbas, confirmed late Thursday that Boehner was in Lower Makefield fundraising for the congressman.
Falls police Lt. Todd Pletnick confirmed that township officers assisted with security during Boehner’s stay at the Sheraton. He said explosive-detecting K-9 Officer Jesse swept Boehner’s motorcade and patrol officers were on the scene for crowd control.
The Secret Service also provided protection for the Speaker of the House.

Kim Bartholomai left the follow statement on LevittownNow.com’s Facebook page:
The tour bus arrived with 3 police cars in front and 2 behind, they all drove to back parking lot of the sheraton. Then for hours they would not let any vehicles in the lot. My sweet mother even walked over to one of the security guards and asked who is that? He said ” Sorry we cannot tell you, but it is a VIP”. He just repeated that a few times to any question she asked
An image posted on Instagram by Feasterville resident Tim Pristatskiy shows Boehner’s motorcade traveling down Route 1 toward Levittown.
Politico reports that Boehner played golf in New Jersey with Donald Trump the day after his appearance in Bucks County. He also attended a fundraiser for a New York politician.
