
A Philadelphia man made dozens of ย vulgar, ย threatening calls to a his former Middletown employer’s home and now faces a torrent of stalking and harassment charges, Middletown police say.
Police responded to a report from the Middletown couple who said beginning on May 3, 2013 at 2:30 a.m. ย they received dozens of tormenting phone calls they characterized as distressing at all hours of the night, court documents say.

The tormented couple told police some of the calls contained various vulgar statements and threats warning the couple to “watch out,” police say.
Of the dozens of calls, the victims told police, a most were placed by an anonymous caller, however, 28 calls made on June 23 came from a phone number assigned to aย ย Frank Suminski, 43,ย of Philadelphia, who the husband knew as a former of employee fired from his company, court documents say.
The Middletown couple told police the calls have caused them real concern since they know the alleged caller, police records say.

Police called Suminski ordering him to call back and stop the stress inducing calls, however, he continued to call the couple and was arrested this past Tuesday.
Suminski was arraigned by District Court Judge John J. Kelly on two stalking charges and 30 harassment offenses. Bail was set at 10 percent in lieu of $50,000 ย and was sent to Bucks County Jail. Suminski is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on August 15.
