3 Car Fender Bender Ties Up Traffic on Route 13

A three car accident Wednesday night on Rt 13 and Beaver St. held up traffic as officials investigated its cause.

The accident occurred, according to one police official, when the front car in the chain of three stopped short approaching a changing traffic light.

Bristol Consolidated Fire Department Engine 51 and Borough Police were on scene.

There were no injuries Bristol  Borough Deputy Fire Chief Tony Riccio said.

No further  information from police officials is available at press time.
