The executor of a Middletown Township home ย performing ย a routine check-in on the Langhorne section property found the entrance to the home damaged. Now her brother is in police custody for burglary and criminal trespass, police say.
Middletown Township Police responded to the 100 block ofย ย Shadybrook Drive in response to a burglary call, court documents say.

A woman met officers explaining that she was checking in on the home when she saw the front door has been pried open and told police she suspected her brother had broken in telling police no one permission to be inside the property and that he was kicked out several weeks ago, court documents say.
Officers deployed a K-9 to carry out a search of the residence clearing the first floor upon entering the second floor “Nyxx,” the K-9, responded by barking an alert for officers, court documents say.
Michael DiTomaso, 42, with no fixed address, when found by officers told them he knew he wasn’t supposed be in the home “but had no where else to go,” according to court records.

DiTomaso was charged with burglary, criminal trespassing ย and one other summary offense. He was sent to Bucks County Jail in lieu of 10 percent of ย $35,000.
He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on July 25.
