A 38-year-old Bristol Borough man was arrested Sunday after police found him inside the fire-damaged garage that was previously used by the Lion Tour Bus company in the Edgely section of Bristol Township.

Frederick Moody is facing a charge of criminal trespass. He was arraigned early Monday morning before District Judge Mark Douple and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.

Police responded to the abandoned bus garage in the 300 block of Penn Avenue for an alarm call just before 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Upon arrival, officers found Moody inside the building; he was ordered out and taken into custody without incident, police said.

According to police, the 38-year-old made entry through a boarded up back door. It appears he tore the plywood down and then propped it up to cover the doorway, in an effort to make it appear the covering was intact, court documents state.

Police contacted the owner of the property who said the property was vacant and will be sold once repairs are complete. Court papers show that the building’s owner did not give Moody permission to be in the building.

The building was the site of two suspicious fires that remain under investigation, Fire Marshal Kevin Dippilito said recently. The most serious fire in early 2012 destroyed several buses.
