If you’ve been wondering like many others about what effect the National Weather Service (NWS) ย hazardous weather and flash flood alerts have had on plans for today’s festivities we have your answer.
Undaunted by the reports from the NWS , President of the Celtic Heritage Foundation, Mary McIlvain, said moments ago, “it’s a rain or shine event,” so the festivities are a go, she said.

According to NWS, however the weather might not as bright as McIlvain”s mood throughout today.
The service says that bands of thunderstorms are expected to move into the area later today warning residents the potential for flash flooding is high due to rain falling at approximately 2 inches per hour.
McIlvain said we won’t let bad weather get in the way of the Celtic spirit.
