Neshaminy’s Assistant Superintendent Takes New Job

Neshaminy School District Assistant Superintendent Dr. Jacqueline Rattigan will be leaving the district in the coming weeks as she moves to a new job as superintendent of the Pennridge School District in Upper Bucks County.

Rattigan’s new job was voted on by the Pennridge School Board Monday evening.

She will have a a five-year contract with a starting yearly salary of $165,000, according to a press release from Pennridge.

“We conducted a very thorough search and interviewed a number of excellent candidates,” Board President Duane Deming. “We believe Dr. Rattigan is clearly the best person for the job. She has the skills and the experience to maintain and enhance the quality of education provided to our students.”

Rattingan will replace current Pennridge Superintendent Dr. Robert Kish, the district said.

Her new role will begin August 1.

Rattigan was officially named Neshaminy’ s assistant superintendent in September following months of temporarily filling the role. She previously was the district’s director of elementary and secondary education.

Neshaminy has not released who will fill Rattingan’s spot.
