A weekend carjacking in Bristol Township did not go how the suspect probably envisioned it.
A man – later identified as Justin McCann, 31, of Elderberry Drive in Falls Township – hopped into a running 1996 Honda Accord parked outside the 7-Eleven store in the 2400 block of Haines Road at around 10:45 p.m. on Sunday night, Bristol Township police said.

Inside the car, he ordered a woman in the passenger seat to “get the f**k out of the car.” He repeated it again, pulled a knife on her, and she got out and fled, police said.

Two officers spotted the stolen Honda as it traveled toward Bensalem on Route 13. The Honda abruptly turned into the parking lot of a Villager Lodge motel on Route 13, according to court documents. Officers stopped the car and placed McCann in custody, police said.
Both the owner of the Honda and woman passenger positively identified McCann as the man who stole the car, police said.

McCann is charged with robbery of a motor vehicle, theft, receiving stolen property, possession of a weapon and related charges and sent to county jail on 10 percent of $100,000 bail.
