Cops: Dazed & Confused Man Stumbles into Drug Possession Charge

A dazed Levittown man leaving the bathroom Saturday evening at the ballfields on Jefferson Avenue in Bristol Borough is now facing possession charges after police found a white powder and syringes on him as walked around, police say.

Police responded on June 15 ย to a report ย of a “disoriented” white male leaving the area after being in ย bathroom at the Jefferson Street ballfield for approximately 10 minutes, police say.

When police arrived on scene, two “young girls”ย  said they found “little blue baggies” on the floor of the portable bathroom after the suspect, who they described as wearing shorts and a dark-colored shirt, police records say.

Officers observed a man fitting the description provided on the 800 block of Garden St., where he was stopped by police, court records say.

According to police, the subject was sweating, appeared confused, and was disoriented. Officer on scene searched David Shaak, 35, for officer safety, finding 10 syringes and four small paper envelopes, colored blue, with a white substance inside. allegedly heroine, in the defendants front right pocket, court documents say.

Shaak was placed under arrest and taken to police headquarters for processing, police say. The defendantย ย was charged with two misdemeanors; possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.ย According to online court records Shaak was issued ย a summons to appear before ย District Court Judge Frank. W. Peranteau Sr.on July 24 and released.
