
As part of an undercover sting operation organized by the Bristol Township Narcotics Unit , a Levittown man was arrested late last week on two felony charges of ย manufacture, delivery, ย possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substances, Bristol Township Police say.
On two separate occasions Mario ย Battistini, 27, ย madeย exchanges with a confidential informant that took place in the area of 401 Bristol Pike in Croydon, court documents say.

In the first exchange, which took place on December 10, the informant purchased 5.74 grams of marijuana from Battistini, police say.
On December 12, a purchase of .78 grams of oxycodone ย was also made from the defendant, ย court records say
No charges were filed against the defendant at the time of the transactions, and police have yet to indicate why there was a delay ย in arresting the defendant.

Battistini ย is currently out on bail in lieu of 10 percent of ย $50,000.
He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on June 19 in front of District Court Judge Frank W. Peranteau Sr.
