Driver in Attempted Burglary Spree Charged, Cops Say

A Lower Southampton man was charged with being the driver during a string of incidents late last month in Middletown Township.

Garrett Stallone, 19, of Buttonwood Drive, is charged with one count of felony conspiracy and is out of jail on $20,000 unsecured bail.

According to police, Stallone drove 20-year-old Alexander Borochaner to attempted burglaries in the 500 block East Ravine Avenue and 200 block Hampton Drive in Middletown. Borochaner was charged previously in the two incidents and a burglary on Deep Dale Drive East.

The duo was caught when a former classmate of Borochaner’s saw him exit Stallone’s silver Dodge Caliber on Hampton Drive and then watched his former classmate attempt to break into a home. The classmate chase after Borochaner and called police, according to court documents. Stallone drove away from the scene, as Borochaner was chased.

Stallone spoke with police hours after the attempted burglaries and confessed that he drove while Borochaner attempted to rob houses.
