A 20-year-0ld man was arrested last week after he was caught trying to break into several homes in Middletown Township, police said.
Alexander Borochaner, 20, of Crestwood Road in Middletown, is charged with burglary, criminal attempt, criminal conspiracy, theft and receiving stolen property.

At 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Middletown police were summoned to the a home in the 50 block of Deep Dale Drive East after a homeowner reported someone broke into the house through a back door while she was asleep, according to court documents. Police reported that $300 cash was taken from a dresser and the burglary caused $400 in damage.
At 3:45 p.m., police were called to the 500 block East Ravine Avenue after a resident – identified by the Bucks County Courier Times as a police officer – noticed Borochaner wearing latex gloves, a backpack and looking inside the house through a window. The 20-year-old saw the homeowner and ran away on foot, the homeowner told police.

At 4:11 p.m., a witness on 200 block Hampton Drive reported a burglary in progress. The man who called about the burglary told police what happened and said his suspicions were raised when when he saw Borochaner, who he formally attended school with, get out of the passenger side of a silver car and walk to a Hampton Drive house, police said. Borochaner was at the rear of the house when the witness saw him take off his latex gloves and put them in his back pockets, police said. The 20-year-old fled on foot and the witness gave chase, court documents state.
Police caught up with the driver of the silver car, which drove away while Borochaner ran, and he confessed that he drove while Borochaner attempted to rob houses. No charges have been files against the driver as of late week.

In an interview with police, Borochaner admitted to the burglary and attempted burglaries.
Borochaner was arraigned and sent to county jail on 10 percent of $100,000.
