A 47-year-old man was arrested late Saturday night after cops caught him inside a car at the Peruzzi Nissan car dealership on Old Lincoln Highway in Falls Township.
A police officer noticed the trunk open and the emergency flashers blinking on a 2013 Nissan Altima at 10 p.m. at the dealership that was closed for the night. He stopped to investigate.

According to court documents, the officer approached the side of the car and noticed a man – later identified as Vernon Boulware – bent over the steering column with his hands pushing down on the column.
The officer then verbally ordered the man to exit the vehicle and Boulware looked back and put his hands down, police said. It took several more request to get him out of the vehicle, police said. Finally, the man did, laying on the ground until additional law enforcement arrived.
After speaking with the general sales manager for the dealership, he said he did not authorized anyone to be on the property during off-hours, police said. He added that Boulware was not allowed to be in or attempt to take any vehicle.
