After Closing Threat, Conwell-Egan Graduates Class of 2013

Conwell-Egan Catholic High School’s 2013 senior class of 164 students graduated Tuesday, according to PhillyBurbs.com.

The Class of 2013 almost did not happen. In 2012, the Bristol Township school was announced as one of several Archdiocese of Philadelphia schools to close. However, the school stayed open after an outpouring of support from the community.

โ€œDespite the difficult circumstances, our student body, you all, never faltered,โ€ the website quoted valedictorian Kristen Marie Manto as telling her peers.
