The missing BMX rider’s father, Mike Histand, a Lower Makefield police officer, flew to Arizona recently to help look for his son, according to KPHO-TV.
The younger Histand was last seen on May 15 just after 5:30 a.m. when police found him sitting in an alfalfa field. The responding officer said the young man was confused, but able to handle himself and he was let go, the CBS affiliate reported.
The Glendale Star newspaper cited police as saying Histand’s behavior had become strange in recent days. It was reported that Histand may have suffered a concussion following a BMX accident.
