According to court documents, the man found his friend, Williams, waiting for him outside of his place of employment on Cabot Avenue in Middletown Township at 3:45 p.m. of April 22. The 37-year-old woman asked to borrow $600 cash from the man, and he agreed, police said.

The two drove his Mazda 6 to Hatboro Federal Saving bank in Hatboro, Montgomery County where he withdrew $600 and began to travel back to his workplace, police said. That is when, according to a statement provided to police by the man, Williams began fighting with him while they were traveling on Route 1.

Williams said she wanted to drive; the man pulled over at Hulmeville Road and got into the backseat of his vehicle so his friend could drive, police said.

Shortly after, Williams turned around and stabbed the man twice with a pocketknife, police said. They added that the man suffered two stab wounds to the right side of his chest. Police did report he was able to wrestle the knife away from Williams and chuck it out of the car.

The bleeding man tried to escape the car, but Williams said he could not leave or the “cops would come,” according to court documents.

Williams insisted  she would drive him to the hospital, police said. At the intersection of Bristol Road and Grandview Avenue in Bensalem, Ford jumped out of the vehicle at a red light and darted up a hill and toward the Neshaminy Mall, all while “bleeding significantly.”

Bensalem police were called to the AMC Movie Theater after several people reported a man who was bleeding. EMS crews transported to St. Mary Medical Center for treatment for the stab wounds. The man also suffered bruises on his neck, ear and a black eye; injuries he told police Williams caused two days before during a fight, according to court documents.

Authorities said they later discovered Ford’s vehicle empty and locked at the parking lot of his job.

Williams spend about $80 on the man’s credit cards at a gas station, Wawa and a on hotel room in Virginia without authorization, police said. She tried to use the card for purchases and was declined at the Walmart store in Tullytown.

The woman was in the area because she said a Western Union Wire Transfer the man had send her was not able to be cashed, police said.

The man told police he met Williams about 8 months ago at a Horsham bar and did not consider her his girlfriend.

Williams was arraigned late last week and sent to Bucks County Prison on 10 percent of $100,000 bail.
