According to the source, the suspect, driving a silver Nissan with a New Jersey license plate, attempted to make a U-turn, ram police with his car near the Burger King on Beaver Dam Road and Route 13, when a second police cruiser arrived on scene and boxed in the run away driver who has been reportedly racing through multiple jurisdictions with police in pursuit.
Because of safety concerns, police broke of pursuit of the driver earlier today.
When the suspect is released from medical treatment police will process him on as yet unnamed charges, police sources say.
