A fire destroyed a trailer and damaged a building in Bristol Township Saturday afternoon.
A 30-foot-long horse trailer was found burning next to a building in the 7000 block of Route 13 in the Edgely section of the township, Edgely Fire Company Deputy Chief Brian Cirard said. No horses were reported to have been in the trailer.

No one was injured, but the building next to the trailer suffered damage to a garage door area, Cirard said.
Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito told LevittownNow.com the fire was ruled accidental and was likely caused by mechanical issue.
“A walk-in to the station reporting a truck on fire across the way,” Cirard said. “Same time the crews were going to investigate, county communications center was dispatching a building fire” for that same area, he added.

Crews from Edgely and Levittown No. 2 fire companies knocked the flames down in 10 minutes, Cirard said. Levittown-Fairless Rescue Squad also responded to the scene.
