Cops: For Phylicia, It Wasn’t Worth It

Bristol Township police were called to Goldenridge section of Levittown on Tuesday in response to a report that a woman was knocking on doors, entering homes, and stealing medications, court documents state.

A resident of ย Gun Road told police that a unknown femaleย enteredย her home after she knocked and then entered the residence. The homeowner confronted the woman, who subsequently left, police said.

With a description in hand, police located the subject walking on Goldenridge Drive near Gamewood Road, while speaking to the suspect officers “noticed a prescription pill bottle stuffed between ย her breasts, which wasn’t in her name, the affidavit of probable cause said.

Police spoke to the Grasspond Road resident who was identified on the pill bottle and he told police earlier in the day he heard knocking at the door while in another room of his homeย  that he didn’t respond to but when entering another room “he smelled perfume and thought it was odd,” police said.

The man checked his medicine and told police twoย prescriptionย bottles were missing, one a blood pressure medication and the other for his cholesterol, telling police, no one had permission to be in his home or access his medications, court documents said.

Both homeowners identified the woman and police ย took her into custody and during a search another pill bottle not her in name, which contained fifty-eight 20 mg pills of Enalaapril, which is also used to treat high blood pressure, was also found.

The woman – Phylicia Worth, 25, of Granite Road – also had in her purse, blue wax paper, folded with “Get Hooked” stamped on them, and two syringe bodies, authorities said.

Police also found a glass jar with a leafy substance in it which appeared to be marijuana, and a department store credit card police confirmed the defendant had no permission to use according to the owner of ย the card, court documents say.

Worth was charged burglary, criminal trespass, receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana and related charges. She is currently in Bucks County prison in lieu of 10 percent of $75,000.
