
A man was arrested after a he broke in and stole $8 from a Penndel Borough business, police said.
According to court documents, the Acosta garage door business in the 100 block of Durham Road was broken into and $8 were removed from petty cash located the desk drawer. The theft was reported Friday April 19.

Along with all the external lights at the business being broken, police said they discovered the suspect entered through a window, police said.
On Tuesday, Officer Sean Perry and Chief Joseph Sciscio interviewed Brian Herbert, 40, of Durham Road in Langhorne. Herbert admitted, according to police, that he stole the $8 and cut his right hand while entering the business. He told police they would find his fingerprints and blood in the building.
Herbert was arrested on Tuesday on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, theft, receiving stolen and criminal mischief. He is in jail 10 percent of $20,000.
