Police Look for PNC Bank Robber

For the second time in less than a month, the PNC Bank located at 301 West Trenton Avenue in the Morrisville section of Falls Township has been robbed.

A black male suspect – who is considered armed and dangerous – entered the bank at 3:40 p.m. on Thursday; brandishing a silver revolver and demanding money, the FBI said.

The suspect made away with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area on foot, officials said. He was last seen in the direction of a gas station and bowling alley heading east on West Trenton Avenue.

FBI officials describe the suspect as a being in his mid-20s, approximately 5-foot-11, medium build, medium to dark complexion. They added that he wore jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt, and possibly a scarf or shirt covering his face.

According to a police radio traffic, possible clothing belong to the suspect was found in the trash at Lincoln Arms Apartments near the bank. A police K-9 unit was searching the area.

Surveillance pictures released by authorities show the suspect at the teller station handling cash and holding the small silver revolver.

The same bank was robbed on April 12 by a man as being 6-foot-tall, stocky build and wearing a dark gray hoodie and a black scarf. That suspect wore a scarf to partially cover his face.

FBI spokeswoman Carrie Adamowski said agents are investigating whether the two robberies are connected.

A police source said the suspect in the April robbery also fled to the nearby apartment complex.
